Talking Cow:

A man's car stalled on a country road one morning. When the man got out to fix it, a cow came up along the fence and stopped beside him. Your trouble is probably in the carburetor, said the cow.

Startled, the man jumped back and ran down the road until he met a farmer. The amazed man told the farmer his story.

Was it a large red cow with a brown spot over the right eye? asked the farmer. Yes, yes, the man replied.
Oh! I wouldn't listen to Bessie, said the farmer. She doesn't know a thing about cars.

EWWWWW:

A man goes into the doctor's office feeling really bad. After a thorough examination the doctor calls him into his office and says I have some bad news. You have HAGS. What is HAGS the man asks. It's herpes, AIDS, gonorrhea, and syphilis says the doctor. Oh my God says the man. What are you going to do? We are going to put you in an isolated room and feed you pancakes and pizza. Is that going to help me says the man. No says the doctor. But it's the only food we can think of that we can slide under the door!

Lounging at the movies: Unleashed, Stealth, Requiem For A Dream

Unleashed
Starring Jet Li, Morgan Freeman, Bob Hoskins and Kerry Condon among others.

This movie was called 'Danny The Dog' when released in China. There is a reason for this. The movie is about a man who was raised like an animal. His life purpose is to do what his master (Hoskins) tells him. His master usually tells him to kill everyone, until Danny (Jet Li) escapes and finds the gentle hand of Sam (Freeman) and his adopted daughter Victoria (Condon). As far as we are concerned they ruin him. He won't fight anymore, he won't kill anymore, he want to live a normal life of love and happiness. This sucks for people, like ourselves who rent movies to see the abnormal and spectacular. There is a little more story than there is butt kicking. If you rent this movie, pick up The One while you are there so you have a back-up.

Stealth
Starring Josh Jucas, Jessica Biel (meeeeow), Jamie Foxx, Sam Shepard and so on and so forth.

Although Lt. Kara Wade keeps her cloths on this movie makes up with high tension action and state of the art explosions and out of the pan and into the fire scenarios that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Basically the military creates an unmanned super fighter jet that thinks. The only problem is that it does not think hard. The plane decides to dig up some bad guys and do what he does best, spread death and destruction. Great action movie. Must see.

Requiem For A Dream
Starring Ellen Burstyn, Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly, Marlon Wayans, Chistopher McDonald and more.

Even though we attempted to only watch movies with one word titles (Uleashed and Stealth) we ventured out and rented Requiem For A Dream. Like we where not depressed enough after watching Unleashed. This movie is a depressing, really depressing, look into the lives of a group of people that have fairly bad drug habits and worse luck. As they try to score better, cheaper and more quantity of their drugs of choice they become more desperate. Spiraling downward into worse case scenarios, this movie made me want to find my own drugs to block out the one bad situation after another these guys would stumble through.

Instead of going on about this depressing waste of time we will now provide a pretty picture of a very nice pork roast with cedar spikes through it.

Lounge Food: Roasted Butternut Squash
---------------------Blue Cheese Vinaigrette

Squash is overlooked most of the year and is made fun of the rest of the year. The squash reminds most people of something you do to a bug. With guidance the word squash can trigger memories of traditional meals and not a spider the size of a crab.

Roasted Butternut Squash

3 pounds butternut squash
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon honey
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Remove stem from squash. Cut squash in half lengthwise; remove and discard seeds.

Cut each half into 4 wedges, and place on aluminum foil-lined cookie sheet.
Stir together butter and honey until blended. Brush squash evenly with butter mixture; sprinkle evenly with salt and pepper.

Bake at 450 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until tender, turning once.

Cut skins from squash wedges and discard. Serve warm.

Here is a little something for the vegetables. It's easy, it's blue cheesy and people will love you for making it. You can add more blue cheese for chunkier, thicker dressing. Suite yourself.

Blue Cheese Vinaigrette

3 Tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
1 Tablespoon sour cream
1 Tablespoon mayonnaise
1 1/2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 Tablespoon white vinegar
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 sugar
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Dash of salt

Whisk together all ingredients and chill until ready to serve.

Phobia Of The Month:
Agateophobia: Fear of insanity.

This is a tricky one. If you became insane would you know it or would everyone else be the crazy ones. You know the ones. The ones watching.

Have a great day.
