Lounge Cocktail: Bouzo
Cocktail by WebTender

This cocktail, we believe, could be the cure for depression, shyness, infertility and the fear of dancing. We also believe it could be the cause for incarceration. If you plan on having a couple of these you may want to acquire a bubble wrap helmet and surrender your keys.

Ingredients:
2 oz Bourbon
1 oz Ouzo

Mixing instructions:
Pour in the bourbon, then pour in the ouzo.

The Bourbon cuts the edge off the Ouzo nicely and Ouzo cuts the edge off life.

PRIZE WINNERS!

Bubba and Billy Bob were in the Little Rock Wal-Mart, they decided to get in on the weekly charity raffle. They each bought five tickets at a dollar a pop. The following week, when the raffle was drawn, each had won a prize.

Billy Bob won 1st place - a year's supply of gourmet spaghetti sauce and extra long spaghetti.

Bubba won 6th prize - a toilet brush.

About a week or so had passed when the men met back at Wal-Mart. Bubba asked Billy Bob how he liked his prize, to which Billy Bob replied, "Great!, I love spaghetti!"

Billy Bob asked Bubba, "How 'bout you, how's the toilet brush?

"Not so good," replied Bubba, "I reckon I'm gonna switch back to paper."

Lounging at the movies: We apologize in advance.

Volver (2006)
We had been looking forward to a Penélope Cruz movie. We put it in and this movie is in Spanish. We don't speak Spanish so we popped it out.

Breach (2007)
Starring Chris Cooper, Ryan Phillippe, Laura Linney, Caroline Dhavernas, Gary Cole and Dennis Haysbert (from The UNIT and the insurance commercials). This movie is based on a true story. We thought it dragged along but all the extras on the DVD where very interesting.

Dream Girls (2006)
Starring Jamie Foxx, Beyoncé Knowles (Meeeoooow), Eddie Murphy, Danny Glover and Jennifer Hudson. This movie is well worth watching even though nothing exploded and there was only one death, which they do not show. The story follows a trio of soul singers from the early 1960's through their transition to the pop charts. Heart touching and a great date movie.

Epic Movie (2007)
Unless your 12, don't waste your time.

The Invincible Iron Man (2007)
We want our 83 minutes back.

The Holiday (2006)
Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Jack Black and others. A romantic comedy of sorts about two women in the throws of romantic disaster. The ladies decide to switch homes, in different countries, for the holiday season. Although this is a major chick flick there is a scene where Kate Winslet is on the phone with her brother, Jude Law with Camaron Diaz on hold that is hysterical. Personally we thought, although we love Jack Black, should stick to films that work better with his natural talent as an entertainer. Two thumbs up after a bottle of wine.

Lounge Eats: Beer Marinade

Beer is the oldest alcoholic beverage in the world, or at least we are pretty sure. Beer is the cause and the solution of all the worlds problems as Homer Simpson once stated. Beer is good. Below we will describe how to use beer to make better chicken.

3 pounds boneless Chicken breasts, we said breasts.
1 cup Italian Salad Dressing
6 maybe 12 bottles of domestic beer. If you live in Europe go for a Pilsner

First open a beer and drink it while reading the rest of the recipe. Wash and rinse the chicken then place in a bowl for marinating.

Pour the Italian dressing over the chicken and massage the marinade to totally cover the chicken.

Place marinating chicken in the refrigerator for about three hours or how ever long it will take you to drink the other 5 or 11 beers.

Remove the chicken and grill it over a hot grill for approximately 5 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature is about 170 degrees. Do not check this with your finger, use a meat thermometer.

Even if you are not fond of Italian Dressing the chicken will taste better.

Notice:
Crisco was developed by P&G, August 14, 1911. The first Crisco party was later that day.

Phobia Of The Month:
Amnesiphobia: Fear of amnesia

The irony of this fear may be that if you had amnesia would you remember you have Amnesiphobia or would you just "feel" like you should be feeling different.
