Drunk TimeA drunk was proudly showing off his new apartment to a couple of his friends late one night, and led the way to his bedroom where there was a big brass gong.
"It's not a gong. It's a talking clock," the drunk replied."A talking clock? Seriously?" asked his astonished friend. "Yup," replied the drunk. "How's it work?" the friend asked, squinting at it. "Watch,"
the drunk replied. He picked up the mallet, gave it an ear-shattering
pound, and stepped back. The three stood looking at one another for
a moment. Suddenly, someone on the other side of the wall screamed, "You
idiot..... L. Jackson, Harrodsburg, KY.

Lounging at the movies: Capturing The Freidman's, etc. |
|
Capturing The Friedman's: FIlm documentary of a family, the Freidmans. Father, an educator gets popped with child porn and the witch hunt that followed. Although a disturbing look at how a community reacts to blame and media this movie will keep you thinking. Recommended but not a date movie. Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King: The last of the infamous trilogy. I have had enough of all this Lord of the Rings. Besides the fact you need to wear a diaper to make it through the film, it seemed the story dragged on and on and on and on. The end reminded me of the Wizard of Oz a little. And you where there, and you where there, and you where there. Definitely an epic picture and worth seeing but not a favorite. Some of The B.K. Lounge Favorites: Dog Soldiers, Stigmata, King Pin, Big Fish, Oh Brother Where Art Thou.

Scorched: Starring Woody Harrelson, Alicia Silverstone, Rachael Leigh Cook, John Cleese, Paulo Costanzo and Ivan Sergei The story is about three bank employees in a small desert town. unaware of the others' plans, each makes a plan to rob the bank during the same weekend. Comedy, no sex or gratuitous violence, that I remember, but found it funny. All The Queens Men: Starring Matt LaBlanc (Joey). Secret agents in the English Army are sent to steal a top secret coding device from Berlin. The only way in undetected is in drag. I could not get Joey's character from friends out of my head. It always seemed like he was acting like he was acting. Funny but a slow burn.
